Ever tried to explain your research project / idea to someone only to see their eyes glaze over? It doesn't have to be that way. Join us in the Butler Studio to work on de-jargonizing and clarifying your elevator pitch. You'll discover how to communicate your research topic, sell your grant project, or pitch your long-form essay or entrepreneurial idea to non-specialists––and then practice on the non-specialists in the room! The Elevator Pitch Workshop is the kick-off event for the Libraries'5-Day Impact Challenge, designed to help Columbia graduate students improve their professional online presence one small task at a time over the five week days of spring break.
