Carbontech: How Business is Creating Wealth from Waste

March 25, 2019
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Off-campus
Location: Canadian Consulate 466 Lexington Avenue, 20th Floor (near Grand Central Station) On behalf of Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy and the Canadian Consulate in New York City, we invite you to take part in an event celebrating carbon-to-value innovators and investment. Phyllis Yaffe, Consul General of Canada; Richard Kauffman, Chairman of NYSERDA; and Marcius Extavour, Senior Director, Energy & Resources at XPRIZE, will deliver keynote remarks as we bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, and thought leaders working to create a circular carbon economy. New policies, new technologies, and new enthusiasm for direct action have created fresh excitement and opportunities in turning CO2 into commercial value. Join us for high-level keynotes from national and global leaders and a networking reception featuring leading innovators, experts, entrepreneurs, scholars, and financiers working to make a new manufacturing base built on recycled CO2. -- Please note: Registration is required for in-person attendance and all attendees must register prior to the day of the program. On-site registration will not be accepted. This event is open to press. Media attending the event should register using the registration link below. Media inquiries or requests for interviews should be directed to Artealia Gilliard (ag4144@sipa.columbia.edu). For more information contact: energypolicy@columbia.edu.
