September 24, 2019

America/New_York
Faculty House, 64 Morningside Dr., New York, NY 10027
Clean energy industries must raise trillions of dollars in the decades ahead for the world to achieve the goals set forth in the Paris Agreement. What is the track record to date in raising capital for clean energy? What can be done to facilitate financing for clean energy industries in the United States and around the world? As world leaders convene in New York City for the UN Climate Summit, the Center on Global Energy Policy will host Ethan Zindler, Head of Americas at BloombergNEF; Sumant Sinha, Chairman and Managing Director of ReNew Power; and Sarah Davidson, Vice President, External Affairs, NY Green Bank on a panel moderated by David Sandalow, CGEP Inaugural Fellow and Co-Director, Energy and Environment, to explore financing challenges and opportunities in meeting the world’s climate goals. --- Guests unable to attend in person can register to view a livestream of the event.
