Climate change will increasingly impact every aspect of every life in every region around the world. Through the lens of the Columbia Global Centers, Columbia faculty will share their perspectives on the impacts of climate change in different regions around the world and how each region has been working to mitigate these effects.
Panelists:
- Ruth DeFries (University Professor; Denning Family Professor of Sustainable Development) will speak on agriculture in India
- Josh Fisher (Director of the AC4 Program) will speak on water in the Middle East
- Faye McNeill (Professor of Chemical Engineering) will speak on air pollution in Africa and India
- Lisa Sachs (Adjunct Assistant Professor of International and Public Affairs and Director of the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment) will speak on how extractive industries are addressing the climate crisis in Latin America
