The Columbia University Initiative on Extreme Weather and Climate presents "Climate Risk and Mitigation: Opportunities at the Nexus of Capital, Science and Law," with Samantha A. Medlock, Senior Vice President and North America Lead for Capital, Science and Policy, Willis Towers Watson. Ms. Medlock's talk will examine the role of climate risk data and analytics in the design of policies, practices and innovative finance to reduce physical, economic, and social impacts and legal liabilities associated with extreme weather and climate change. Ms. Medlock brings insights from her work in the insurance industry and government under the Obama administration.
