The Earth Institute's Columbia Water Center (CWC), the Eagle Academy for Young Men of Queens and The Bridge Golf Foundation present the second annual Water Fair to raise awareness of the many enviromental issues surrounding the use of this most precious resource.
In partnership with The Eagle Academy and the Columbia Water Center, the Water Fair is the culmination of months of work by dozens of young men in grades 6-9. Their exhibits include posters, videos, technology-based activities, and hands-on experiences designed to support active learning and dynamic exchanges with their fellow students, family, friends, educators and community members.
Students will also highlight actions everyone can take to make a difference in conservation and social justice issues related to water, including our direct support of Golf Fore Africa’s work to bring clean water to rural villages in Zambia.
