Scholars and faculty from the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia SIPA (CGEP) and Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) will join students for a series of engaging seminars to discuss the world’s most pressing issues and solutions related to energy and the environment. The goal of this seminar series is to thoroughly engage with the forces of technology, policy, and everything in between as they relate to the challenge of mitigating the effects of climate change. Our third seminar will address the path to decarbonizing our electricity grid and will feature David Sandalow, CGEP Inaugural Fellow and co-Director of the Energy and Environment Concentration at the School of International and Public Affairs, as well as Professor Bolun Xu, Assistant Professor of Earth and Environmental Engineering. Robert Winton (SEAS ‘21) will moderate the conversation. --- Registration is required. This series is open to all currently-enrolled Columbia University students. This event will be hosted via Zoom and capacity is limited. We ask that you register only if you can attend this event in its entirety.
