The Thirty-Ninth Annual W. Alden Spencer lecture will be presented by Ardem Patapoutian, PhD, Professor, Department of Neuroscience, The Scripps Research Institute and HHMI Investigator; and David Ginty, PhD, The Edward R. and Anne G. Lefler Professor of Neurobiology, Harvard Medical School and HHMI Investigator. Dr. Patapoutian will speak on "Ion Channels that Feel the Force" and Dr. Ginty lecture is entitled "The Functional Organization of Mammalian Touch Neurons".
