Electric bus in service

The new fleet – among the first electric buses to be introduced in New York City – offers both environmental and health benefits, including reduced emissions and noise pollution, and improved air quality.

Starting Monday, July 2, the new electric buses will be hitting the streets! Here's what you need to know:

  • New bus look, same shuttle routes across Lamont, George Washington Bridge/Fort Lee, and Intercampus lines.
  • All shuttles will now require a Columbia ID swipe to board the bus.
  • You can download the Passio GO app to track the shuttle and see all routes.
  • The Transportation website is undergoing a refresh – check back next week for a new, clean design, improved user experience, and Google maps functionality to help you get where you’re going.
