Over the past ten years the Office of Sustainability has curated collaborative partnerships between faculty, students, and administrators to help solve campus sustainability challenges as part of our Campus as Lab initiative. To date, we've facilitated an average of one capstone per year, and our goal is to increase that number.
This fall, we will amplify the Campus as Lab initiative by expanding our capstone project pipeline and academic partnerships.
Attend this workshop to hear:
- Comments from Chief Climate and Sustainability Officer and AVP Sustainability
- Past Capstone highlights and input from administrators on their experience
- What makes a good capstone?
- What’s next? The Office of Sustainability is looking for a Camps as Lab intern!
Who should attend?
- Operations colleagues, to hear how Campus as Lab can expand your resources for analysis, research, and acton planning
- Faculty who teach capstone courses, to connect with the Office of Sustainability as a prospective client you can count on annually for projects
- Students, to hear how the University is creating more opportunities for you and your peers to directly support Plan 2030
