Columbia has achieved a 37 percent increase in the number of bike commuters on campus since 2013, equating to about 315 new Columbia cyclists.
Since the last transportation survey was conducted earlier this year, there are a recorded 1,155 active bicycle commuters at the university.
CitiBike, New York City's largest bike share network, has also updated their station map, and expansion plans, including a new bike share location on W110th Street and Broadway.
