University Sustainability Principles: Town Halls

March 01, 2016

In 2016, Columbia University will look to adopt a set of Sustainability Principles to set forth a high level vision for sustainability for its campus communities in New York and across the globe. The first draft of Principles has been developed through a partnership between University Facilities and Operations and the Earth Institute faculty.

Community Input to University Sustainability Principles

The Earth Institute will host three town-halls, at which members of the Morningside, Lamont-Doherty and Medical Center campuses will have the opportunity to weigh in on and ask questions about these principles, currently in draft form.  The dates of these town halls are below.

Morningside Campus – Tuesday, March 22, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Jerome Greene Hall, Room 104

Medical Center Campus – Wednesday, March 30, 5:30 - 7:30 PM, Hess Commons Room, Allan Rosenfield Building

Lamont-Doherty Campus – Monday, April 4, 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Monell Auditorium

We want your input! Send us your feedback or comments on the principles by April 29, 2016
